A large crowd of members and visitors witnessed a fantastic singles final contested between Stevie Gillespie and Ricky Bruce. In a very sporting manner, the crowd saw Ricky take an early lead and there was absolutely no telling who would come out on top with the head continually changing bowl after bowl until the score reached 12-12. It was at this point that Stevie stepped up a gear and pulled away to eventually win 21-12. Well played boys and congratulations to our new club champion for 2023 – Stevie Gillespie.
