Lochee Bowling Club retained the Millar Triples Cup at Balgay Bowling Club on finals day for the Dundee and District BA (21st June). In a closely contested final against Broughty Castle Bowling Club, Lochee were in the driving seat and were leading 11-7 after 11 ends. Broughty Castle then picked up 5 shots to lead 12-11.  Lochee responded immediately and scored four shots on the 13th end. Lochee held on and won the match 15-14.  The Lochee Team was Charlie Thomson (lead), Brian Smith (second) and Willie Milne (skip).  This years success was Willie’s third consecutive win in the competition as Lochee’s skip.
